If you have ever wanted to dissect the yoga practice more thoroughly, to understand what is happening with your body and how to create the shapes of the postures from a functional anatomy standpoint, this class is for you. You will learn how to activate the legs to bring stability and support to your warrior and triangle poses, including revolved and balancing postures. Explore hip alignment, spine shape and shoulder placement as well as key core techniques to create sustainable integrity in each shape.

You will learn relevant anatomy, how to activate and support your body, exploring different poses, shapes and functional movements that draw you toward alignment. This is a community-based practice where you can expect laughter, learning, partner work and unique opportunities to have a-ha moments that will forever change your practice going forward.
