A Soul-Reviving Retreat
February 20 - March 1, 2026

Close your eyes and imagine this…

You’re stepping off a small boat onto the powder-soft sands of Little Corn Island. The air smells of salt and hibiscus. The ocean stretches out in every shade of turquoise, and the only sounds are the waves and the rustle of palms swaying above. Time slows. Your breath deepens. And just like that—you’ve arrived.

For the next seven nights, Yemaya is your sanctuary. From your private oceanfront casita, you’ll wake to the sunrise painting the sea in pink and gold. You’ll sip fresh juice from the garden while the island stirs gently awake.

Each day begins and ends with yoga and meditation—on open decks kissed by ocean breezes, where the horizon becomes your drishti. Morning flows ignite your energy, while evening practices invite stillness as the sun sinks low. In between, the day belongs to you: paddle out across glassy waters, snorkel coral reefs alive with color, or simply rock in a hammock, book in hand, while the world drifts away.

Meals are a celebration of the island itself. Yemaya’s organic gardens supply herbs, fruits, and vegetables that mingle with just-caught seafood in vibrant, nourishing dishes. Imagine sushi rolled with island mango, fresh ceviche at lunch, or a candlelit dinner of grilled lobster, waves lapping below the open-air restaurant. Every bite is a love letter from the land and sea.

This retreat isn’t just a getaway—it’s an invitation to soften, to reconnect, and to remember what it feels like to be fully alive.

When you return home, it won’t just be with sun-kissed skin. You’ll carry the rhythm of the island in your breath, the peace of the ocean in your body, and the spark of your own spirit reawakened.

This is Yemaya. This is your journey back to you.

Daily Flow: Yoga, Meditation & Renewal

Twice each day, we’ll gather for yoga and meditation. Mornings awaken your body with gentle stretches, mindful breathwork, and energizing flows. Afternoons/evenings invite stillness—yin or restorative practices, meditation, and reflection as the sun sets and the island quiets. Between sessions, your time is your own: explore, rest, or simply be.

Nourishment: From Garden to Table

At Yemaya, food is crafted with love, artistry, and connection to the land. Their organic garden supplies fresh herbs, fruits, and vegetables, woven into every dish. Local fishermen bring the daily catch—snapper, lobster, and shrimp—prepared with Afro-Caribbean flair.

Meals are served at El Erizo, the open-air restaurant perched over the sea. Imagine vibrant smoothies in the morning, grilled plantains and crisp salads at lunch, and candlelit dinners of ceviche, curry, or wood-fired seafood as the ocean hums below.

Every bite is fresh, nourishing, and designed to restore your body as much as your practice restores your soul.

Island Adventures: Water & Wonder

Between yoga and mealtimes, Yemaya invites you to explore.

  • Kayaks and paddleboards are always available for gliding across glassy waters.

  • Snorkeling excursions reveal coral gardens alive with tropical fish, rays, and reef creatures.

  • A sunset boat cruise lets you watch the horizon melt into gold and rose as you toast the day.

These aren’t rushed excursions; they are moments to connect—to nature, to the sea, and to yourself.

Sacred Ceremony: Temazcal Experience

One evening, we’ll step into an ancient tradition: the temazcal, a sacred sweat-lodge ceremony. Guided by skilled facilitators, you’ll move through cycles of heat, intention, and release. This ritual is as much spiritual as physical—a cleansing of old patterns, an invitation to renewal, and a profound reminder of your connection to the earth.

The Spa & Stillness

When you’re ready for deeper relaxation, Yemaya’s jungle spa beckons. Treatments range from soothing massages and clay therapies to sound healing journeys that vibrate through every cell. As the jungle hums outside, you’ll feel your body soften into complete ease.

The Gift of Time

The heart of this retreat isn’t just yoga or activities—it’s the gift of slowing down. You’ll wake to sunrises over the Caribbean, spend afternoons reading in hammocks, laugh with fellow travelers, and walk barefoot along untouched beaches where it feels like the world is yours alone.

On February 28, we’ll bid Yemaya farewell, carrying the peace of the island back to the mainland. Our final night in Managua on March 1 allows for gentle integration before journeys home.

FAQ & Retreat Policies

Do I need travel insurance?
Yes — travel and medical insurance are mandatory for all participants. Your policy must include:

  • Trip cancellation & interruption

  • Emergency medical coverage

  • Evacuation coverage

This protects you in case of illness, injury, flight delays, or unexpected changes. Proof of insurance will be required before departure.

What is your refund policy?
A significant portion of retreat costs are paid well in advance to secure accommodations, meals, and excursions.

For this reason:

  • Your $1,000 CAD deposit is non-refundable.

  • All remaining balances are also non-refundable once paid.

  • If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another participant (with organizer approval).

  • In the rare event that the retreat is canceled by the organizers, all payments (excluding personal travel costs) will be refunded in full.

Why is insurance required if payments are non-refundable?
Insurance ensures you can recover your investment if unforeseen events prevent you from traveling. This keeps your trip protected and allows us to plan the retreat with confidence for every participant.
