Jnana Yoga is one of 4 yogic paths, and is the path of knowledge and wisdom. We will examine the nature of consciousness, the 5 kleshas (sources of suffering), the root of beliefs, paradigms & core values, and the 9 obstacles that arise upon this journey within.

Through exploration of the works of yogic sages of the Jnana path (including Ramana Maharshi, Nisgardatta Maharaj and others), and self-enquiry techniques, you will be invited to dive beneath the surface to consider who you are at your essence. You will learn techniques of concentration and meditation, and yogic philosophy to support the removal of avidya (ignorance) and the balance of equanimity.

Here you will have an opportunity to explore through meditation, discussion and reflection in dyads and groups, the nature of yourself and build a clearer connection to who and what you are. The limbs of yoga that we will examine include pratyhara (sense withdrawal), dharana (concentration), dhyana (meditation) and samadhi (absorption).

Open to yoga teachers and students. Resources provided.

Jnana Yoga is one of the modules eligible within our 100 Hour Yoga Immersion Program. If you are interested in registering for this module through that program, or curious about what is included within the Immersion, please visit the link below.
